Roof Top Blox of Ellington, CT was rently awarded U.S. Patent #7,731,131—acknowledging and protecting the design of RTB-01—its unique and user friendly roof top piping support block. RTB-01 is the first product of its type to incorporate fast and easy height adjustment for piping support rods through the use of molded-in, reinforced slots that capture and align the securing nuts. This feature quickens initial assembly, and also eliminates the need to dismantle the assembly for adjustment because the underside of the block no longer needs to be accessed.
Additional novel and patented design features include recessed top saddles that help organize piping, extended thread gripping reinforement that strenghtens the grip of clamping screws, and available securing brackets (SCB-07) that permanently secure the "Blox" to rooftops where the forces of wind, rain and snow loads are of concern.
